Get ready for Graduation Season! In this Hana lei workshop, you will learn two popular graduation lei styles, incorporating long-lasting materials to commemorate this momentous occasion. 🎓

This workshop will take place on Sunday, 03/17/2024 from 12pm - 3:00 pm at our office on 7820 NE Holman St Suite B1 Portland, OR 97218. You can register on below! 💌🤙🏽

Participants will need to bring a quantity of 4 bills of whatever face denominations you would like to add to the lei. Base materials will be provided with the $10 class fee. To ensure enough materials are available for participants, registration is required. Space is limited to 15 people.

Get to know the instructor! - This month's workshop will be led by Ashley Helenihi (she/her) 🌺. Ashley is a community-made Native Hawaiian cultural practitioner, born and raised in the Pacific Islander diaspora on the U.S. continent. Ashley finds joy in cultural arts and crafts and is particularly passionate about the practice and accessibility of lei making. One of her favorite lei to make and gift is ribbon lei, because they are customizable, everlasting, and materials are widely available. Mahalo for your interest in making ribbon lei too! 💝
